SO true….thanks Tawny for posting this

Pinkberry party:) I have to say that Pinkberry is AMAZING. I won a party though crowdtap, and invited my friends and there kids. It was fun to get together and taste the new flavors. The Salted Carmel is AMAZING. I could eat that every day and it wouldn’t get old. The watermelon was ok, a little a tart for me, and of course the chocolate was great. The original flavor wasn’t a hit with anyone but Carl. I thought it tasted like spoiled milk…Not my thing. But I have to say I love pinkberry, and will be going back

Such a cute cake and easy to make, according to the video listed in the link. I prefer to make my cakes from scratch and I stick to using high quality toppings and ingredients (especially dyes), but I don’t categorically shun the use of boxed cake mix if it is easier for some to do that to do their cake decorating.
In fact, it seems like a cheaper and more efficient way to simply practice cake decorating without using up all of your premium ingredients in your pantry.
This butterfly cake idea is from Betty Crocker. I think one can go even further and play a bit more with customizing the shape of the wings by carving and tweaking after getting comfortable with the basics. I will try this myself.
In fact, a series of butterfly cakes, each with different color schemes and design styles would be cool, all showcased on a table for people to gawk at and eventually eat.
Wonderful idea for a Spring or Easter cake bake sale…or a playfully-themed party of some kind.
